Exposition de témoignages civils de la Libération – Organisée par l’association Villy Découvertes

Ah ! Si les chemins de Villy-Bocage pouvaient parler, ils nous livreraient les histoires d’un cadre bucolique, mais nul doute qu’ils appuieraient aussi les témoignages que nous ont laissé les civils au moment où la guerre touchait à sa fin…Villyssoise de 15 ans, Huguette Rat témoigna de sa perception du Débarquement en bande dessinée. Les témoignages d’autres normands complètent ce récit et forment, ensemble, une exposition inédite réalisée par l’association Villy Découvertes depuis 2021.

If the paths of Villy-Bocage could speak, they would tell us stories of a bucolic setting, but no doubt they would also support the testimonies left to us by civilians as the war drew to a close…Huguette Rat, a 15-year-old resident of Villyssoise, gave her account of the D-Day landings in comic strip form. The testimonies of other Normands complete this account and together form a unique exhibition produced by the Villy-Découvertes association since 2021.

Randonnée théâtralisée “Faut sauver le soldat Marcel” – Organisée par la Troupe Tonton Marcel

Au cours d’une randonnée de 6 kms sur les beaux chemins de la commune de Villy-Bocage, venez découvrir avec nous la vie de Marcel. Au fur et à mesure de vos pas, vous suivrez sa vie, ses engagements et son rôle primordial dans la bataille de Normandie. Une histoire entre réalités historiques et comédie rigolote, un hommage décalé aux héros ordinaires qui ont fait la Paix en 1944. Prévoir environ 2h de randonnée

Theatrical hike “Saving private Marcel” – Organised by la Troupe Tonton Marcel

Join us on a 6 km hike along the beautiful paths of the commune of Villy-Bocage to discover Marcel’s life. As you walk, you’ll follow his life, his commitments and his key role in the Battle of Normandy. It’s a story that’s part historical reality, part funny comedy, a quirky tribute to the ordinary heroes who made Peace in 1944. Anticipate 2 hours of wallk

Repas guinguette et bal de la Libération “In the Mood” – organisés par les associations Villy-Village et l’Etincelle

Après un bon repas, dans une ambiance guinguette des années 40, retrouvez Aurélie et Hélène, chanteuses et complices, chantant ensemble depuis des années dans différentes formations. Elles vous feront voyager dans le temps, avec leur guitariste, sur un répertoire d’avant-guerre, guerre et libération. Trenet, Piaf, Andrews sisters…il y en aura pour tous les goûts !

Guinguette meal and Liberation Ball “In the Mood” organised by Villy-Village et l’Etincelle associations

After a good meal, in a 40s guinguette atmosphere, meet Aurélie and Hélène, singers and accomplices, who have been singing together for years in different bands. With their guitarist, they’ll take you on a journey back in time, with a repertoire of pre-war, war and liberation songs. Trenet, Piaf, Andrews sisters…Something for everyone!
